Conduct inside Mumbai Consulate ???

Anyone had any experience with taking a small 2 year old child for a visa (along with parents of course) ? My sister is going next week for the interview with her husband and 2 year old child and she was worried about handling her child inside the consulate and during the interview.

The rules don't allow for anything except documents to be taken in and without the kids toys my sister is worried about how to keep the child entertained during the wait and at the interview.

If anyone has had or knows about such an experience can you share it please !!!

I am sure you can take paper and crayons inside the consulate. If the baby is interested in drawing might keep her occupied for some time.

But what I don't understand is why do they want a child to be present at the interview in the first place ??!?!?

I wonder if any member on this forum knows of anyone who has applied for a visa along with their child and what their experience was !

Anyone ... ???
