Need help on B2 visa
Hello Everyone!!
I am glad that people are helping each other and sharing their experience.
So this is going to be my first visa interview.I am going to US for travel purpose <Wanderlust> , i have some places in mind to roam if i get my visa done.I am planning to take 3 week leave from office for this self sponsored trip.
My doubts are:
1. I am self sponsoring my visit to US but i have a friend in seattle where i will stay for starting days to cover Washington and nearby places. Can i give his address and name for contact person and the place where i am going to stay. Does he need to furnish any documentation like invitation letter etc( provided my travel and visits to other places will be self sponsored)
2. I have only 2200 USD in my bank account but 5000 USD as liquid assets(investments such as mutual funds etc, redeemable ) will it be sufficient to get B2 visa?
