  • B2 visa denied planning for second interview

Hi guys! Please help me on this
I had my first b2 visa interview last Jan 30,2017
I am 25, single and working as a bank teller for almost 5 years. I plan to visit my boyfriend in Oregon for 4weeks as well as sightseeing. He will shoulder all the expenses during the trip.
    My interview went like this:

Me: Goodmorning! (Handed over the passport)
C:Goodmorning! So what's your purpose for visiting US?
Me: For tourism purposes and to visit my boyfriend
C: (checked the screen) So your boyfriend is (name of my bf)
    Me: Yes
    C: Where did you met?
    Me: (chuckles) online dating
C: Have you met in Person?
Me: Yes! he actually visited me for the last two years
    C: what do you do?
Me: i am a customer service representative (should be associate) in (name of bank)
    C: for how long?
    Me: five years this May

Then he typed for some time in his computer but sadly he denied my visa and i just said Thank you in a sad tone. I dont have any idea why i was rejected. It was horrible experience.

I was hoping he would see my stamps in my passport from my previous travel-Hongkong and Macau last 2013. But he didnt mentioned it. I was honest on my purpose and i want to visit my bf just in short period of time.

Im planning to try again on March, on the second interview will the consul will let me explain the "strong ties" i have. Like my job on the bank, my family here-my parents are senior citizens. Letter of approve leave with sanctioned letter, payslips, COE,etc

Please suggest and help me thank you.

You have a boyfriend living in the U.S. you want to visit. That alone makes you a high immigration risk. Other things do as well. Your young, probably do not have strong enough ties to home country, and quite possibly could be from a high immigration risk country for the U.S. Your chances of getting a B1/B2 visa are slim for several reasons.

This is my opinion and not legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

Thank you for answering. Yeah it seems that i have this slim chance but his parents really wants me to visit this year even for a couple of days. And on the second interview, will it be okay if i just say, for sightseeing and not mention ill be visiting my bf or otherwise until they will ask
And also filling out the form that i am self supporting but im going to stay to thier residence for sometime
Ill have my proposed itinerary with exact date of arrival and departure and cost of trip. I dont have money on bank but i got good earning job

They have the information from your 1st interview on their computer. Changing the answer second time will not help.
