Anyone heard of successful tourist visa approvals in February/January?
I hear all rejections reviews in January February 2017. Have you heard of any "tourist" visa success?

Also, is there anything wrong to select visa category as B1B2 for parents who are seeking tourist visa?
I know B2 suits better, but someone had suggested go for B1B2 in second attempt (1st was rejected in 2012 -lack of financial and social ties)

B1 = Business Visa
B2 = Tourist Visa

B1/B2 = Both are combined into one.

there is no point in adding the B1 unless they have some business also. If they say they need a B1B2 then they would be asked what business are you doing in the US.
