Is reschedule of date via the toll-free number possible ?

Anyone tried to re-schedule/pre-pone their date by calling the (10min) toll free number to the VFS ? Do they entertain such requests ?

Does anyone know of a case where they were able to pre-pone the appointment date this way ?
