I 34 documents are required for parents renewal B1/B2 appontment also ?

we are sponsoring parents renewal Visa, but they have only biometric appointment not interview.
still they need to carry sponsor documents...?

They should carry supporting documents. It's not necessary but if officer ask they can give.
