  • B1 Visa holder calling parents

Hi, I was going through various threads regarding calling parents from India but could not find answer to my specific doubt, it would be great if someone can help me out here:

So the thing is that I have B1 business visa and I visit US for 4 months after a gap of 2 months (when I stay in india). And I was planning to call my parents for maybe 2 weeks when I am in US. Next time I am in India is from 24th Feb-20th April and then I will be in US, I want to call them in May. I have three options:

    1) I call them with me being the sponsor. First question is it even possible that a B1 holder who doesn't earn in US can be a sponsor? Even if I can how much amount in the bank I will have to show in order to get their visa approved? My company gives me miscellaneous expenses when I am in US, can that be shown as my funds?
    2) They apply their visas themselves for tourism purpose not for visiting me and then they show the funds that are there with me (again me being the sponsor, but this time I am just a sponsor not the caller).
    3) My first cousin, who lives in US and is on H1B, calls them. But the question here is, can he call his uncle aunt? because wherever I read people either talk about calling parents or in laws. Is it that chacha chachi (Uncle aunt) can also be called?

Please help me as to which option is the best, also I would be open to any other options that can be suggested!

    1. It's not good idea to call parents on visitor visa while you are on business visa in US. It should be around $2500 per person.
    2. They can self sponsor. But if visa office ask they need to answer truthfully that you are in US on business visa. It's same thing. Because they are showing your bank balance.
    3. Your cousin can invite.

They can pay for their own trip, or you can pay for that or your cousin can do the same. It does not really matter.

Of course, if they are capable of paying for their own trip, that is the best option.

What matters is that they have strong ties to their home country.
