Hi Friends,
I am trying to bring my in laws for post pregnancy care of my wife.
I have couple of questions if anyone can help.
1) My current H1B visa is valid until July 14th' 2017. And my company generally applies for extension before 2 months of the expiry date. Will it be a problem when applying visitor visa for my in-laws? Can I just give the visiting period as just 3 months for them and can still apply?
2) I have heard that, if parents say the visit is for pregnancy care, visa will be rejected? and hence should not disclose that explicitly.... But if they ask, should we tell the purpose?
3) My uncle's name has a minor typo in my aunt's passport and hence does not match exactly. one word Nookaiah vs. Nookayya in his long name :-( . Are they particular about it or should it be corrected before applying the visa?
Please advise. Thanks for the help.
Thanks & Regards,
Murty.
