Visa Booking - Urgent Help needed

I am seeing dates for booking B2 Visa in may, june, july for English Interview. But there is no dates when I chosed for Regional languages like Tamil, Telugu in Chennai Consulate.

Am wondering whether I can book interview dates for English and later on whether I can reschedule the visa appt. Is it possible to get Tamil Interview dates during Reschedule Process ?

I saw one email thread saying "No, Its not possible". Only you can reschedule for English. Is that correct ?

My In-Laws cannot speak English. What will happen if take English Appt and ask them to go to chennai Consulate. During that time, whether consulate can provide Tamil Interpreter or they will deny the visa or they will ask to get Tamil Appt date and come again.

Pls guide me which is correct.

Any information is greatly appreciated or any suggestions are welcome

If u take an appt in english, u can't reschedule it to any other lang. later without cancelling your english appt.

Getting interpreter after booking appt in English is not recommended especially in chennai. Very few people got interpreters like this, but most of the time the applicants were asked to come back with appt in their local lang.

My in laws had appointment in English but they managed to get a translator once they were in. Guess they were lucky!

While talking appointment online, Where exactly do u get the choice of choosing between languages in which the appointment can be taken??
When i took for my parents there was no choice???
Please let me know.

when u select the state, u will get another dropdown below for langauages...

Thanks a lot for your response. Seems like I have only option to cancel the appt.

If I cancel the existing appt and want to book for new appt, do I need to take another set of DDs. Otherwise, I can use the same DD for rebooking the APPT.

Does anyone knows whether Tamil Interview slots are available.

U can use the same Visa application fee DD receipt for one year. It becomes void if ur visa is rejected though.
