CBP officer did not take Custom declaration form

Hi,

My came came to USA in December 2016. She is on visitor visa. During her flight, she was given Form 6059-B(Custom declaration form), she had showed the completed form to the officer, during immigration. The officer stamped the form, but he didn't keep the form with him. My mom came out of airport with the form. Would that be a problem? What should we do with the form? Is there some change in the custom declaration processing?

I would really appreciate your help on this.

don't worry about it. i came in on Wednesday and they did not even look at my customs dec. they probably relied on the information I had to enter in their pre-immigration electronic kiosk
