parents visiiting USA

My inlaws are planning to come to the US in May. My father in law is a businessman but mostly retired now although he still has some income from business. In their DS 160- I have selected his status as retired but do I need to give his business details in the previous employment section as I believe that's for a job. Further although they have very little current income they have adequate financial assets (savings, stocks etc) plus a house hence would it be ok if I select "Self" in the section about who is going to pay for travel?

Please advise?
