  • Potential problems for B2 Visa

    Hello,

I'm a lawyer based out of New Delhi, and am planning to apply for a Tourist Visa to visit my friends in Texas.

Given the current situation, have any of the recent B2 visa applicants from India faced any problems so far in getting the approval?

Would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this.

A search for "B2 denial" on this site produces many hits which you should review

The rule of thumb is, are you better off overstaying your visa and working illegally in the United States?

Or are you better off returning home to privilege and opportunity unavailable to you in the United States?

Your narrative for both visa interview and admission at port-of-entry should emphasize the latter

      B2 visa

no, it's pretty much business as usual. the ban for certain countries did not affect India and has since been recalled. so you have the same chance of getting your B2 approved now as you did before this year.
This is my opinion not legal advice.
