B2 visa missing information,

Hi viewers,

I had filled the b2 online form (ds160) recently and later came to know that i mentioned only my bachelor degree information, not 10th, 11th and 12th details. So would like to know will it make any issue during my next week interview. I'd like to know how much is educational background important when apply for b2 visa?

Actually i will be going to attend the interview with my family (5 passports), so is it fine to proceed as you advise, bit worried if they reject due to that error i will loose visa fee for 5 passport which is quite big amount...confused

This is my story

Hi,

I applied from Riyadh Saudi Arabia with my wife and 2 kids. I am here in Saudi Arabia from 18 years and had a decent salary and bank balance. I went to Dubai only

Unfortunately VO rejected by visa. Everthing went smoothly here is the interview went like this

Me : Good Morning
VO : Good Morning

VO : Passports
Me : Given

VO : where are you working
ME : Told

VO : Working as
ME : Told

VO : For how many years with the current employer
ME : Told

VO : For how many years in Saudi Arabia
ME : 18 years

VO : Asked my wife asking for her name
Wife : Told yes

VO : How many years you told me 15 years
ME : No 18 years

VO : you went to any other country
ME : I said Dubai

VO : with your 2 kids
ME : No 1 because the youngest one is just 4 months and we went in 2014

VO : What is your eldest one doing
ME : I said he is in school

VO : What is the school name
Me : Told

Then he typed about 3 min and said you do not qualify for the visa now & handed me the white paper with section 214 (b) I don't know what went wrong. He did not look any documents also.

He did not ask about my educational background. I also mentioned only the latest degree which I have. As far as I read all the reviews and experiences from this site (immihelp) no one say anything about the education they had asked on b2 visa. But don't get disheartened after reading my story because solely it is varies on case to case.

By the way when is your interview and from where are you applying in Saudi Arabia. Please let us know your experience and outcome of the interview.
