  • One year b1 b2 visa, reapplying (young adult)

Hi. December 2016 I applied for a b1 b2 visa and it was approved for only one year. I am a medical student and I will graduate next year in April 2018. This year I will travel 2 times to the USA for a short period of time and I intend to reapply by the end of the year.

My plans for next year's are: I started a job this month as medical assistant in my family' s business (private pre-school), I will complete a year as a intern to get my medical license, I will apply for the medical residency in a hospital in my country and continue my medical education there for 4 years.

    I don't have any properties ( I'm only 22)

I have had a 3 month visa before for a conference when I was in high school.

What are the possibilities of me getting my visa renewed? And for how long?

If you don't overstay in the 2 forthcoming visits and make the visits really short that will prove that you are not a potential immigrant and your renewal should not be a problem.

I'm worried because I don't own any properties and I finish my undergrad in April next year but I will reapply for the visa by the end of this year. So basically I won't have enough proof of ties to my country, except the fact that I need to to a intern year to have my medical license (wich americans dont know) and my actual job (wich I just started this month).
