Urgent help..Name change in DS-156

Please help .....
My sister has interview scheduled for 24th april. She is about send in all the forms by 2 days.
There is a discrepancy in her name
Her passport has her name as 'Satya' and her real name is spelt 'Sathya'
Also all ds forms have been filled in as 'Sathya'
Should we do the same like fill in a blank DS forms (ds-156 & ds-157) and indicate to the CO that the name was typed wrongly.
will it be a problem to show her name as 'Satya' as in passport when her sign and real name is 'Sathya'

its better to match whats in passport.

yes .. have another copy of DS Forms filled with name as in passport and inform CO as you reach there.

I would also suggest you to call the CO and explain your situation.

One more Q.
Do we have to submit the handwritten form also along with other documents that we submit 5 days before the interview date to the consulate.
