Rescheduling visitors visa

Hi,

My parents are planning to come to US early May 2006..But they have got the interview appointment date ( for visitors visa )on Aug 28 2006.We would like to prepone the appointment.But the procedure now for preponing has becoming really difficult..This is kind of emergency and I would like to know if any agency can help us out or any valuable tips are welcome.

Keep checking for any early date. rescheduling is only allowed once if you took the appointment through vfs online. What is the emergency you are talking about?

Hi,

I cannot quote this as an emergency for the visa appointment as this is a family emergency..I know the procedure for rescheduling the visa..I have been looking for the earlier dates..Sometimes even if I find one, the procedure has become very elaborate now..I need to first cancel my current appointment and then need to fill 2 forms for 2 people and submit, and then I can reschedule the dates..The problem now is, the date is gone by the time I complete this procedure.Any helpful tips for doing this is really appreciated.

There is no short cut way. Go through the regular way.

At what time do you usually try checking the appointments.
Since they fill in so quickly, try doing this early morning around 7:00 am or so ... May be you will find something.
