Hi Forum,
Recently, visitor visa was rejected for my nephew who is 12 years of age. He was interested in spending time with us during his vacation time in May. Trip was sponsored by my brother in law. They were asked to appear for interview. No documents were seen. Asked very general question. Name of applicant?, Who is in USA? what Job parent is doing? how many employees my brother in law has. They did not ask any question to my sister since she was not sponsor.
being first time by BIL was lil nervous so when they asked him about his job and number of employees, though he answered he got little hesitant. Consular said visa is not approved.
I want to re-apply again but this time my sister as a applicant and not Bother in law. My sister works for Senior Post in administrative services ( Dy. Collector ).
How do I make sure consulates looks at all documents? they did not look my invitation letter or my BIL and sister's property , Bank balance documents etc.?
Being only son, my nephew will surely return back to India and all our relatives ( Except me ) are in India. So, we have strong ties back in India.
Any input will help?
Should I take senator or congressman help? we are in CA and all are Democratic so not sure being Republican's in power, it will help or not.
Let me know your thoughts guys.
Thanks in advance.
