B1 for Working woman and Visitor visa for children

Hello

Am working woman planning to viist US on B1 Visa and planning to take kids along on visitors visa. I have a sponsored letter for me from my organization and I would like to sponsor my children. Am married but separated, not legally. And he is in US. Am not sure which place and what Visa he is in.

So for the question for my children on whether your Father is in US, what answer Should I mention?
Also what status should I mention for me?
As also I dont have his Visa copies, would that be problem at visa interview?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You need to tell truthfully just like you explained here.

Is your father in the US? Yes.
Visa copies? Don't have.
Marital Status? Separated.
