  • B2 visa for spouse & kid

    Hi,

I have B1 visa sponsored from my organization and I want to take my wife and kid with me next time when I go for official visit.

    Can I sponsor my wife (house-wife) & kid's (5 year old) B2 visa?
What are the documents we need to furnish?
On what parameters, visa acceptance or rejection will be done in this case?
Any other piece of advise or anything that we need to take care of?

    Regards,
    MA

Your wife and child would apply for their B1/B2 visas. I am not sure what you mean by sponsor, as a B1/B2 visa holder cannot sponsor anyone, but if you mean take care of the financial aspect of the travel, then yes. Here is a website I found they may be of assistance with knowing what documents they will need: https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...tor-documents/

No one can know if the visas will be approved or not. They will have to be able to show strong ties to home country.

This is my opinion and not legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
