B2 Visa Interview:What is the purpose if going to attend a wedding?

Dear forum members,

I would highly appreciate if you can help me in my interview preparation.

Me and my wife want to go to the US to attend my cousin's wedding ceremony. In the DS-160, I chose the visa type as B2.

I have my visa interview coming up. What should i answer when he/she asks me about the purpose of visit? Can i just state the actual reason "I wish to attend my counsin's wedding" or am i bound to say "tourism" just because B2 means tourism? The interview experiences of B2 that i have read here, everyone seems to state Tourism. So I am very confused on how to answer that.

Also what documents should i take along in this case for my interview?

Visitor visa does not mean only tourism.

Attending wedding is also fine under visitors visa.
