Indian Citizen Applying for US Business visa (B1/B2) from a different country

Hello All,

I am an Indian citizen working in Sweden. I wish to visit the USA for a few days as a tourist and need to apply for B1/B2. Earlier I applied for US visa from India to attend a conference. That is when I made a profile and filled DS160 and appeared for interview at US Consulate, Mumbai.

Now I have filled the DS160 form while residing in Sweden. But when I am proceeding to book an appointment, it is taking me to US Embassy page in India. I have tried it multiple times and everytime I land on India page and the only options I have to select as venue for interview are Indian cities. I even tried using a different e-mail ID but in vain. I guess it detects my nationality and selects India home page.

Could anyone help me in resolving this issue?
