Hi All,
I need a quick help. I am applying for my parents visa for Mumbai Consulate Office. My Dad does a small business and he has everything like IT returns, business bank account, business license, visiting card, etc. I hope carrying these docs along with all property papers (just 7-8 lakhs, not more) should be enough for him.
My Mom also runs a small business out of home. She just have PAN and IT Returns for last 3 years but doesn't have any other proof like license, bank current account, etc.
Now my dilemma is whether to show my mom as business woman or not. Here are my views:
1) If I show it so, firstly they may ask for business proof which she doesn't have other than IT returns. Not sure if this could create an issue. And secondly, if asked more on business location and if she says she runs it from home, my friend said, consulate person may think she might be going to do the same in US as well which is not the case for sure.
2) If I don't show her as a business woman in DS-160, not sure if they doubt about her comeback. Though my dad will have all the valid documents and they are going to appear together. Infact they are going to travel together for 4 weeks of time span.
Please suggest with your advise at your earliest. I am a lot confused.
