B2 visa for guardian

Hi all,

Can I apply B2 visa for my childhood guardian ?
my childhood days are much taken care by a guardian ( kind of care taker ) and she is aged above 70 years now. She is not related to me in terms of legality ( last name, related documents ).All she have is just a passport now.

I am well settled in US and want bring her with my sponsorship . Finally take her to some tours here. Please advice whether I can sponsor her. If yes what documents do I need to prepare for her.

I prepared for my dad in past but in this case she is different.
