guys i promised to give the details hence this
My parents had an appointment on 7th april at 1:15 p.m in chennai.
the situation was like this
reason of their visit-to witness son's graduation ceremony
sponsor-self because my brother is still under f1 visa and is presently working in a company under OPT.
My parents entered the consulate at 1:00p.m .they were called up for the interview at 2 '0 clock.
The visa interviewer was an american guy.the following questions were asked
1.what does your son do?
2.how many children do u have?
a)my father said two and showed our family photo(which i felt was the main reason for the approval)
3.what does ur second son do?
a)engg
4.does he do engg work or studying engineerin?
a)studying engg
Q)how many years of engg is left for ur son to complete his engg?
a)2 years
Q)for how long have u been working
5)when did u get ur last promotion?
a)3years back
6)what does ur company manufacture?
7)how many employees are working in ur company?
all the above questions were asked to my dad
question asked to my mom
1)for which company are u working?
a)my mother replied Nuclear fuel complex(i feared this might lead to the rejection ,but ...............)
2)for how long have u been working?
that's it.the visa consular officer said go and enjoy your son's walk
