B2 VISA stuck in "Administrative Processing"

Hi,

I had applied for B2 VISA for my parents. The consulate officer said VISA is approved and the passport will be available within a week to 10 days. It's already been a week since the consulate interview. Today, we got the passport with visa for my father. But for my mother, the status on CEAC tracker shows "Administrative Processing". I had already booked their tickets post visa approval.

Can anyone share their experience about how long did it take for them to receive the passport (in case of B2 VISITOR VISA) after getting stuck in "Administrative Processing"?

Hi,

I am facing similar ussue. I had my parents B2 interview couple of days back. The interview went well the VO did not say anything and just said you will get a message to pickup your passport. But when I checked online my Mom's visa is approved but for my dad the status is adminstrative processing.

Not sure what that means
