Hello people,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice please. 2 years ago I attained my VISA -B2 so I could travel to the USA from England. I had to get a Visa from the embassy because I had a criminal record. I passed no problem at the embassy as my record isn't deemed dangerous or any related convictions which would cause the us to not let me in. So I went to Vegas no problems.
Here lies the problem;
I have since lost my passport with my visa in. I have now got my new passport on order. However during the time I got my visa I have been before the courts for a conviction. I have not been to prison. However, because I have lost my original passport I will have to obtain a new visa and go to the embassy again. Which this time I think they may not let me in because of another conviction.
I suppose my question is. Since I have been to the US previously, with no problems. If I applied for an esta again. Would my previous passport show that I got a failed esta on an old passport or will it not show that information. I don't want to go down the route of having to goto the embassy again.
However, I do no that this is falsifying your esta which you can be prosecuted for. I am just trying to weigh up my options. I know many many people from England who have travelled to the us and lied on there esta to gain entry and had no issues. I actually did it the correct way and got a visa.
Can someone give me some advice please. My visit is for a holiday again.
