Hi All,
I stay with my family in Bahrain & am working with same company since 8 years. I have pretty decent salary. My wife too works in a company as accountant and happy with her job. I & my wife had planned to visit my sister-in-law and her family who are US citizen and stay in US (CA) for more than 20 yrs. We scheduled to visit US when our kids were in India on vacation with their grand parents.
We applied for US tourist visa & got it in Oct-16. However our plans changed & we rescheduled our visit in Mar-17 as we then thought we should take our children too. so later when we applied for kids visa, we were not only denied visa for kids but the visas issued to us were also cancelled with stamp "Cancelled without prejudice" considering 214(b). Officer said the strong ties considered for issuing US visa for me & my wife was our kids were not accompanying us, but this 'strong tie' was known only when our visas were cancelled.
Now my question is (as our kids next long vacation is due they will stay with my parents in India), can we again apply for US visit visa on the grounds that we will NOT apply & take our kids to US (which was considered strong ties when we were issued visa last time) & only I and my wife will travel to US.
We are planning for stay of maximum 20 days. We are enjoying our jobs & stay in Bahrain and we are absolutely not interested to go to US in search of job or longer stay. We wish to visit for tourist purpose only & meet our relatives to whom we haven't met for more than 10 years now.
Please advice. Thanks.
