Renewed passport after submitting and paying for visitor visa interview.
Here is what happened:
-I filled out and submitted the DS-160
-Payed the non-refundable application fee
-Went to schedule the interview
-Oh no! Passport expires 2 months after intended travel dates! Better renew it now.
-Renewed passport and it has a different passport number.
Do I need to redo the form and the fee? If I have to submit another form will it cause any problems?
Can I simply explain this to the interviewer and have it changed at the consulate?
