Hi.
I applied for extension of my stay here. I am in J-1 status and I tried to change for B-2, but they denied because I didn`t submit the reasons for my request. But before I submit all the documents I went to the USCIS office in San Francisco and the immigration officer told me just to submit the form I-539, my DS-2019 and my I-94 and before they should request more information for me, so I did that and now it was denied.
I would like to know if is it possible to file a motion to reopen my case and how can I explain that?
Do you think is that possible to reopen this case?
