Visa Category Help Please! Visiting purpose. Selected B1 instead of B2.

I should have applied for B2 type. I am intending to attend my sister's graduation ceremony. But, after paying application fees only, I realized, that in the application confirmation page, the visa type says: B1 (Business/Conference). I am not going for business purpose.

My interview date is after a week.

Will this be a problem? Or will they approve my visa in a suitable category ( B2 or B1/B2), if they approve? Should I inform to them at the time of interview that I mistakenly selected B1 instead of B2? Please help me. I am really stressed out.

You can tell them at the time of interview. Most likely, they will give you B1/B2 visa stamp.
