Hi all,
My mom was rejected in April 2017 for her visitor's visa. The primary reason is that we mentioned pregnancy, thinking that it would help, but after reading through posts on here we realized that it was a mistake. We want to apply again. Here is our situation:
- Baby is already born, she can visit for bonding
- I quit my job, so visa office can't say that I need a babysitter
- 4th of July is coming up, can be a good idea for tourism, visit grand canyon, state capitol, hollywood, etc.
- Mom and dad applied last time, but ONLY MOM will apply this time (dad cannot take vacation from work)
- My husband and I have enough money to support mom
- Applied from New Delhi last time, gonna apply at the same consulate office

What can we do to increase our chances of getting approved the second time? Please, we need all the help we can get! I have read through all the posts on here and can't find examples of people who were rejected with "pregnancy", and approved the second application.

What is the process? Do I use the same DS-160 with a new appt date? Looking for more info on this...
