Wrong Name on Visa ( URGENT INFO REQUIRED)

My mom got her visa approved and I booked the tickets. Then we ralized that in her VISA stamp

First Name is : "FNU"
Surname is : "Rima Sen"

while on Passport

First Name is : "Rima Sen"
and Surname is blank.

I am confused if it is ok to travel else get it corrected first. My father will be travelling with her but since they are old I dont want to get them hassled during their first visit to US.

Please advise if you know what is the best approach in this case.

Have it corrected before travel.

get it corrected..it takes 2 weeks,give it to the closest vfs center and get it done.

error in Name on VISA

I too have the same issue as my Surname is FNU and Given name is Mahavir Jain. Though I didnt had any issue as I have been to India twice, but would like to correct it. Could anyone suggest how can I get it done when I am staying in US. Can I post these too counsulates and get it done.

Please suggest !!!
