All Consulates are on a trial sytem for a simplified visa procedure. Will evaluate the outcome in few weeks and makes into a conclusion whether it should continue or not.

Yes VisaChief, what is the simplified process???? Where did you get this information? I mean is it published somewhere? Do you mean to say that in a few weeks things will go some other direction again???

Please answer these questions just so that most of us can have some peace of mind.

The new trend adopted is making the visa interview more friendlier. Several measures haved been adopted by consulates as per Homeland Security instructions. More people are being given visa than anytime with these trial method. Periodical evaluation will be done and Consulates will take the measure whether to continue the new method or to curtail it.

All things are not revealed due to security reasons.
