214(B) - Visitor visa rejected

My brother-in-law's visitor visa for all of his family ( wife and 2 kids) was rejected today. They own a rich business and they can financially support their own travel and trip expenses but not sure why the visa was rejected.


The officer did not even look at his file. Only a few questions were asked and then rejected.

His is a genuine case. His only intention is to spend time with us during this summer as we have not visited India for more than 3 years now.

Please let us know where did he go wrong and when can he apply again ??
