    Wrong Surname and father's name in passport

    I am planning to bring my in-laws to US. The name of father and surname in my wife's passport is SUBRAMANIAM whereas the name in my father-in-law's passport is SUBRAMANIAN. Will this create any problem? Should we change the surname and father's name in my wife's passport? My wife is on a H1 visa...so does the surname in her visa also needs to be changed in that case?

        As long as the applicant name stated in the application is the same as in his passport you shouldn't have any problem
