Hello friends,
I have this question and am wanting an expert opinion. I entered US in 2015 with H-1B visa valid till May 2017. In 2016 I changed job and my H-1B extension was approved till May 2018. However, the stamped visa on the passport expired recently in May 2017. I cannot get updated visa stamp without going back and applying from India. But can I sponsor B2 visa for my parents? From internet it seems, I can, just parents have to prove sufficient ties to home country. But I wanted a stronger confirmation from anyone who is expert or experienced enough. Thanks much for taking care to respond. Will be very helpful.
