I had my interview today at the US embassy in London. The immigration officer said to wait for my passport in 2-3 days. My questions are: During my interview, he said what my point of entry was and I said New York and he didn't if I planned to visit other states. In my mind, I wanted to visit 3-4 states in 2 weeks. The interview was brief and I didn't get a chance to ask question. I was told prior to my interview to just answer what was asked which have been effective for some of my friends.
Question 1: I plan to go to Florida first as port of entry, does it matter if I go to FL first then NY?
Question 2: When I receive my approved passport, when can I visit the US?
The officer did not say if I was approved or not but I read everywhere that if they took my passport, it is a great sign.
