    Residency application based on CHILD US CITIZEN ?

    Hello,

    I was wondering if I (mother) can apply for residency based on my child's citizenship?

    We have lived in US for 14 years and she was born 8 yrs ago. Initially I had an H1 for intially 2 years after my student visa. Moved to India after she was born as had family health issues. I have visitors visa till 2020. I was wondering if I can now apply for residency based on her status in order to move back?

    Nope. Child needs to be over 21 yrs., to petition for the parents.
