B1/B2 Clarity for personal Travel

Hi Guys,

My company had asked me to apply for a b1/b2 visa last year after going through the normal procedure i got the approval and currently hold US visa stamped with b1/b2. My travel plans to US from the company had a changed hence i never traveled before.

Now I am planning for a personal trip to US and will be staying at my Uncl's house for a month ... hence I wanted to know if at the immigration counter will it be ok if i say i am on a personal trip or do i still say i am on business trip and will be staying at my uncls house. Please advise.

oh great. so my doubt was even if i have obtained the visa originally stating applying for client visit.. it wont make a difference now if i say i am on a personal trip

On the contrary just wanted to know if I produce a invitation letter (authentic) from my client and say i am here to meet them for a meeting and my stay will be at my uncle's house as i plan to spend a few weeks with them too will this be fine too
