MINOR Step child visiting then AOS OR Filing

hi everyone, am married to a us citizen for 4 years and we want my daughter to come visit us then if she likes it here we will AS for her but we want to know whether AOS when she arrives to visit or filing for her to stay here which one is better and much convenient.

and also how long does it take when u filing for a minor step child overseas by a us citizen

She can come to US on visitor visa then after 3-4 months you can file AOS for her. Once you file the AOS she can stay in US so it doesn't matter how long it takes. Usually it takes couple of years.
