French citizen

Hi all,

My Mom is a french citizen. Is there any options to get the US Visa earlier for French citizens. Currently we are having only in October.

I wish to keep my Mom atleast for 6 months. I knew she can come and stay here for 3 months with out a Visa.

Please let me know is there any options.

Visa waiver program has lot of conditions including need of a machine readable passport.

If there is a wait time to get visitor visa, it is desirable to book appointment for visa and possibly make two trips to US, a short trip under visa waiver and come back again with visa.

It is however essential to make sure that you explain valid and convincing reasons to officer at port of entry.
