hai all,

can anyone tell me if cover letter from my parents to the visa counslate is necessary or not ? And if necessary then can anyone send me the link to the sample cover letter format?

And is it enough if my parents present one affadavit of support on behalf of both as they r going to the interview together at the same time? .....i mean not asking abt I134 , i am asking abt the affadavit that they have to present to the counslate...

And also can anybody tell me in detail abt what happens inside the counslate i mean once after entering in ?

And also how much time before the appointment should my parents go to the US counslate?

Its good to have one. We never know what they may ask..

See below for a sample. Rgding affidavit: Only one needed. Be at the consulate 15-20 mts before the interview time.

• We have a successful life in India, maintaining our properties and doing some social/cultural work.

Therefore, the above compelling reasons will necessitate our returning home on expiry of the Visa period.

thanks much....but i have 1 more question

hai,

My husband is sponsoring my parents.....so how many days before the appointment do we need to notarize the I134 form and send it to them?

the problem is we did notarized the form once but the mistake we did is we printed the forms on 2 different pages......but later when i checked the immihelp website i found that we have to print the I134 form on 2 sides of a page but not on 2 different pages......

So we have to print them on two sides of a single page and then notarize it again ....so is there any wrong if we do it twice? will the counslate know that we notarized it twice.....plsss give me some advice.....very urgent plsss.

U can notarise again.. no problem. Send all docs atleast 3-4 weeks before the interview so that ur parents can go through them.

thanks for the response.......i got some relief now.....

some of my friends r saying that we can send I134 form in 2 different pages......is it true that we can send it like that or should we send them on 2 sides of a single page ?

And where should we give the I134 form inside the counslate ?

Better to print it back to back on same page. Some people tried 2 pages without issues too. But first option is advisable.... ur parents should Familiarise with all forms and docs including the names of each form. (like I134 is also known as Affidavit of support form) I believe they collect I134 along with other forms. (the details are on the link I send u before)

in how many pages do we need to send the I134 ? i mean do we have to print it back to back on a single page ? or is it ok if we send it in 2 separate pages ?

I am really worried abt this.....i am not knowing which one is the proper way to send the I134
