Reapplication for B2 VISA
Hi ,
My case : I recently got engaged and my fiance is on extension of his OPT(F1) which is going to expire next year October(2018). He might apply for H1B next year. We are getting married in December,2017. After marriage i thought of travelling with him on B2 so I applied for tourist visa (B2) on July 24th and It got rejected(under section 214(b)). My mother in law was the sponsor for my trip.
Now whether i should apply for B2 again or F2 dependent after marriage(considering the fact that his F1 is going to expire next year).
Q1. Purpose of visit ?
Ans. My fiance leaves there so i and my in laws are planning to visit him for this Diwali in October.
Q2. Duration of your stay?
Ans. Two weeks.
Q3. What are you doing here?
Ans. I am working in "XYZ" IT company.
Q4. What is your current CTC?
Ans. 3.85 LPA
Q5. What is your fiance's status?
Ans. F1
Q6. What is doing there? studying or working?
Ans. He has Studied MS from xyz University and currently doing MBA from abc university and they have given him CPT to work so he is working in abc Company.
Q7. When are you getting married?
Ans. Probably next year late Aug.
can anyone please suggest me the reason of rejection and what should i do next to get a VISA so that i can travel to US with my husband after marriage ?
If i apply for B2 again, how will i need to modify my DS-160?
