  • Parents/in-laws B2 visa - Port of Entry Documents and Questions

What documents will be asked at Port of Entry when Parents/In-laws come on B2 visa. They don't know English. If we are the sponsor for trip and all other expenses then do we need to send again any letter to show at port of entry.

At Port of entry they just ask how long you will be staying and where. When I traveled with my mom and cousin, the CBP officer didn't ask questions. My mom just gave her the address and contact number of the person we were staying at, which was my aunt. Just let them walk with a piece of paper with address and contact information, along with return tickets

Return Ticket - my in-laws wants to stay 5-6 months. Does CBP officer give I-94 based on return flight date? Or default 6 months I-94 for B2 visa?
If they give 3 months in DS-160 and then after they got visa if they decided to stay 6 months and booked return flight after 6 months then will CBP officer ask question on it and cross check with DS-160 length of stay?

At POE should we say same as "Intended length of Stay" that was given in DS-160?

If we give 4 months in DS-160 and then at POE if say 6 months with 6 months return ticket will they get 6 months I-94?
