My husband is on h4 visa.I am the only child.My mother is widow.Kindly advice whether we should sponsor her visa or she should self sponser her visa?Which has better chances of going through?Kindly advice

self-sponsoring needs very solid financial background in India. If u have a solid income here, u can sponsor.

Since both my sister and I are here(no other siblings in india) - my parents only strong ties to india is their business, assets and property.
I was wondering how much is good enough - meaning how much bank balance, investment etc is good and strong enough to self sponsor themselves...
