Trying to track my mother's passport...

Hi guys,

My mother had interview on 27th at chennai consulate and got visa. I tried to track her passport from vfs-usa.co.in website. But it says:

"Your passport has not been handed over to VFS. Kindly contact our regional call centres or call our toll free no.
18004 25 0025 for further queries."

I'm confused with this statement.
Does anyone has any idea...please help me regarding this.

Thats the normal initial message meaning the passport is still with the consulate. Check again in the next day or 2
