Mother's name has spelling mistake in my (H1B holder) passport.

Hi,

My mother's name has spelling mistake in my passport. Her name is CHANDRAKANTA GUPTA, but in my passport it has been printed CHANDRA KANT Gupta I want to get her B2(visitor's visa).
Would this spelling mistake be a problem in getting her visitor's visa ? I saw this thread, but I do not know if the same affidavit can work in my case well ?

That is not a problem. Use her name as per her passport everywhere.

Thanks Admin. I was about to get my passport re-issued just to correct her name in my passport. I guess I dot not have to do that which would make things easier.
