my mom in law is widower.is it true that its difficult to get visa,she is planning to go for appointment at chennai in the month of may.if she shows evidence of property and assests back home is it ok?she is not educated and dosent work.so how else can we document that she is not potential immigrant?

you shld be good if you can produce strong financial, family ties etc for your mother
write a letter to consulate explaining why she wld goback etc

its my husbands mother,she absolutely has no property on her name except a small appartment.my husband is finacially taking care of her.my hubby too dosent have any property too.how much of minimum bank balance is needed to be shown?should it be both sides?husband and motherinlaw both have to show their bank balance?
and at the consulate what questions are expected?do they ask about why she is going alone,how about her husband etc?
