urgent querry

hi, my parents have visitors visa and planning to come to meet me. actually at the same time they want to take a tour of usa (sotc tour from india to us of around 10 days).if they start with the tour and then at the end of tour come and stay with me for around 3 mths will that cause any problem with immigration?, i mean during immigration interview and all can it be problematic that they give i 94 for only 10 days? or its ok to do it this way. i will be highly obliged if some one can help me with this or has past experience.

I-94 is issued at the POE. At the interview to be on the safer side they can ask for 2-3 months visa(since they think your parents might stay back if you ask for 6 months)
And then once they get 6 months visa or 1 year or 5 years or 10 years - and come here at the POE they can ask the officer for 6 months visa that way they are on the safer side..
Most big airports issue 6 months if you have more than 3 months visa to stya here...
