    Can we take along a book to read?

    Recently my friend was in Mumbai's US Consulate for a visa interview from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. She did get a visa.. But if we are going to be inside that long then can we atleast take a book along inside to read?? Is a book allowed inside??? My interview is coming up in 1st week of May .. Thanks

      Was it for some special category of Visa? My visa interview took 40 minutes @ Delhi!!

        My interview slot is 8:15 AM ... I hope I get out faster
